Promo Code Partnership

If you run a brand, here's a simple way we can help sell your products to our listeners and not just talk about them.

1. What this is

If you run a fashion brand or have your own products, we can do more than mention them on the episode. We can help sell them too.

The idea is simple: you give our listeners a discount code for your brand. Every time someone uses it to buy something, you keep almost all of that sale. We just take a small cut, a bit like a finder's fee. If nobody buys anything, it costs you nothing.

This is completely optional, and it's an alternative to the "refer people to enless" option in our Guest Terms. You can pick whichever one fits you better, not both.

2. How it could work

There are a few ways to structure this. Here's the short version of each:

  • Commission (our default suggestion): You give listeners a code. Every sale made with it earns us a small percentage, and you keep the rest. No sales, no cost to you either way. It's the lowest-risk option for both of us.
  • Flat fee: We agree on one set amount upfront, no matter how many sales the code brings in. Simple and predictable, but usually smaller than what a commission would add up to if the code does well.
  • Hybrid: A small guaranteed amount, plus a percentage on top for every sale: a middle ground between the two options above.
  • Free product instead: Instead of money, you send us something to genuinely try and feature. Easy to set up, but no ongoing income for either side.
  • Just cross-promotion: No money changes hands. We simply share each other's posts or episode to reach new people.

3. The basics

These are our starting points. Everything here is open to discuss, and we'll always agree on the specifics with you before anything goes live:

  • Suggested rate: 10% of each sale made with your code. Happy to talk about this.
  • Time window: If someone buys within 30 days of hearing about your code, it still counts.
  • Getting paid: Since the sales happen on your site, you're the one who can see them. Once a month, just send us a quick summary of how many sales the code brought in (or share dashboard access, if that's easier), and we'll invoice you for our share.
  • Refunds: If an order gets refunded, that sale no longer counts.
  • No overlap: We won't run another brand's competing code at the same time as yours.

4. Letting your audience know

We're legally required to tell listeners when a code earns us money, so we always will: clearly and briefly, both when we talk about it on the episode and in the show notes. It doesn't cost your listeners anything extra, and being upfront about it builds trust rather than losing it.

Here's roughly how we'll phrase it:

Quick note: I do earn a small commission if you use this code, but it won't cost you anything extra.

This episode includes an affiliate code. If you use it, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

5. Next step

If this sounds interesting, just reach out and we'll figure out the details together (your code, the exact rate, and how long the promotion runs) before anything goes live.
